Composition & quality parameters
Ribbed and plain bar are distinct product forms. In TS 708 designations, 420 and 500 identify characteristic yield-strength classes in MPa; B and C distinguish ductility classes. Carbon, manganese, P, S, N and carbon equivalent (Ceq) must be checked against the selected standard and heat certificate. ASTM and GOST designations are separate specifications, not automatic equivalents.
